SCT Racing #27
SCT Racing — Smith Campbell Racing — is the team behind Ted's racing. Same black and yellow, same determination, racing as #27 in endurance.
The team looks after everything from bike prep and transport to pit stops and race strategy. Every weekend is a team effort: building and fettling the bikes in the garage, loading the trailer, and getting riders out on track ready to race.
For 2027 the team takes on the Freetech Junior Talent Cup, Freetech Endurance and the NBS Endurance Championship — plus the straight-line series in York.

Championships & series
Sprint racing · ages 10–16
Junior Freetech Talent Cup
Short, flat-out races on standard 125cc four-stroke bikes with no engine tuning allowed. Every rider is on near-identical machinery, so results come down to the rider.
Endurance · British Championship
Freetech Endurance
Part of an official British Championship for 125cc four-stroke bikes. Riders share a bike over long races, swapping at pit stops.
Endurance · 4 to 24 hours
NBS Endurance Championship
Long-distance races of up to 24 hours, open to adult riders. Consistency, fitness and slick pit stops matter as much as outright speed.

Straight-line series
Straight-line speed events in York. Dates will be added to the calendar once they're confirmed.
How it works
Sprint vs endurance
Sprint races
A handful of laps, every rider for themselves. Qualifying sets the grid, then it's flat out to the flag.
Endurance races
Riders share one bike and take turns on track over several hours. Rider changes, refuelling and tyre stops all happen in the pit lane.
The team's job
Prepare the bikes, plan the stints, run the pit stops and keep everyone fed, rested and ready to ride.
